Chromium hot-work tool steels are classified as group H steels by the AISI classification system. This series of steels start from H1 to H19.
H13 chromium hot-work steel is widely used in hot and cold work tooling applications. Due to its excellent combination of high toughness and fatigue resistance H13 is used more than any other tool steel in tooling applications.

· A computerized vacuum internal quench heat-treating system is used to guarantee batch to batch consistency and hardness
· Hardness is tested using the Rockwell C scale
· We quarantine every batch away from our inventory until after testing
Our steel quality control procedures are designed to provide maximum tool life and are regarded as the best in the industry. We don’t stock it unless it has the highest quality ingredients.
